Hey everyone!! This week, I’ve got my favorite Pride & Prejudice variations where Elizabeth and/or the Bennets are wealthy or titled.
A few weeks ago, I shared a list of the most common Pride & Prejudice tropes, and I told you about my favorite fantasy Pride & Prejudice varations, as well as my favorite forced/arranged marriage scenarios.
One of Darcy’s biggest stumbling blocks is that Elizabeth and her family are far below him in wealth and social status. There are a lot of variations written where either the Bennets or just Elizabeth herself are really wealthy or have a title.

Mrs. Bennet is often shown as flighty, unintelligent and a character to make sport of. The Bennet parent’s marriage is often shown as a mistake where there is no love; could there be love there that has been stifled due to circumstances?
