NaNoWriMo 2022

NaNoWriMo has arrived for the 2022 calendar year! See what goals author Tiffany Thomas is seeing for her latest novel.

Today is November 1, which means it’s time for NaNoWriMo! Let the writing commence!

If you don’t know what NaNoWriMo is, it stands for National Novel Writing Month. There is an actual nonprofit organization called NaNoWriMo that spearheads the movement each year.

The idea is that you write 50,000 words in the month of November – which, if you skip Sundays to give yourself a break (or it’s your Sabbath, like it is mine), comes out to about 2,000 words per day.

This is only my second year participating, but last year I “won,” and that’s how we ended up with “The Sins of Their Fathers.” If you win, you get several freebies and discount codes for writing programs, editors, etc.

This year I plan on working on the Anthology that I told y’all about. I’m really hoping that in spite of pregnancy, homeschooling the other 3 kids, getting a puppy, and life in general (including a bad cold lol), I’ll be able to get it done and sent off to the editors.

So, this will be a short post so that I can get to writing! BRING IT ON!!

  1. I’m amazed you can write with all you have going on. My three kids wore me out every day! But, don’t stop worrying please, I love your work and will pray for a Christian sister.
