Stalker Notes Sources in “Companions of Their Youth”
The stalker notes in “Companions of Their Youth” were based on famous romantic songs. Discover which notes went with which songs in this blog post.
In my book “Companions of Their Youth,” Mr. Darcy begins receiving notes from a mysterious, anonymous source. The notes get progressively more disturbing, and the author of them is revealed towards the end of the book.
As some readers have recognized, the notes are actually based on popular song lyrics! I know that some readers find it jarring to be pulled out of the story, but other readers (myself included!) love when there are fun Easter eggs in books.
